No-Heat Beachy Hair

Back from my mini beach vacation means getting back to your normal everyday routines. Back to your work routine, work-out routine and even your beauty routine. The biggest beauty routine I do not necessarily miss, is doing my hair. Sounding a bit silly but I’ll be honest, I have more bad hair days than good hair days. When I’m normally wearing a wave look, I have to blow-dry, straighten, grab the curling iron, and use at least four products. Unfortunately, washing my hair and going doesn’t work for me. If I let my hair air-dry then walk out the house, my hair immediately falls flat and straight. So I’m bringing a bit of the beach home with me.
Here are my tips for  no-heat beachy hair.
Make sure to wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Towel dry your hair gently then time to grab your miracle product, It’s A 10. Spray throughout your hair, spraying away from your roots.

After finding your part, with a wide-toothed comb, comb out any knots or tangles.

Time to wait. While waiting for your hair to air dry flip your head over and spray a few sprits of a  texturizing wave spray, my favorite is Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. With your head still flipped over, crunch your hair with your hands.  2

Once your hair is completely dried, repeat step three.  This adds a bit more texture and creates more of a beachy wave.

You are almost done! Time for the finishing touch. Grab your favorite wax, mine is Surf Wax. Rub a little bit of wax on the tips of your fingers, then while your hair is parted how you like, lightly scrunch it at the bottom of your hair!

NOTE: If you accidentally add too much of one of the products you used while creating your no-heat beachy wave, fear not. Grab your dry shampoo, add a few sprits and you’ll be good to go. This step will also add more volume.
