Ah the cropped flair jean trend. It’s been around for a while but only recently have I mustered enough courage to go for it. Being 5’1 I have never been a fan of clothing items that make me look shorter. Who would? I feel like a lot of times it is all in how you style it, but with some pieces (Im taking about you, cropped flairs) it is simply all about finding the right pair or tailoring. With more than half of the items I have purchased with the “oh I’ll just get it tailored” mentality are still sitting in my closet…un-tailered.

If you have not tried the trend. It’s not too late.
Here are some tidbits on conquering the crop flair trend…

Length. Jeans should hit right above your ankle.
Proportions. Since I am on shorter, I like to wear this trend with shorter tops or with a top tucked in.
Shoes. I feel like this trend is a bit friendlier with heels. Once you feel confident, try a mule or loafers. I love wear my cropped flairs with sneakers for a casual look.
